I spent 3 months in Washington State after having to sell my tiny home due to a family member lying to me. We found an older couple on Reddit who were looking for help with their farm (HAHA BIG RED FLAG I KNOWWW) but all went well, we drove 35hrs, that’s 2,341 miles to be exact.. it took about 7 days.
Once we got there we still didn’t have a camper ready to buy, all the ones we looked at were extremely moldy and inhabitable..surprisingly? But luck struck the second day and we found one, good thing cause airbnbs were getting pricey!
✨these are my favorite places I was able to visit:
• Olympia Farmers Market (best apples and jelly!)
• High steelbridge (Here are my field notes on that adventure)
• Brewery Park at Tumwater Falls (this was my favorite daily hot girl walk spot!)
• half way to mt St. Helens (went on a hike with no bear spray so smart I know…actually I didn’t have any protection this whole trip…)
• Lake cushman which is sadly on fire right now :( but it was such a clean and peaceful lake!
• Snoqualmie falls was BIG I think it’s the biggest waterfall I’ve ever seen
✨these are places I’d visit when I go back:
• Forks (twilight vibes HOOOAHOAAAHOAAHOA)
• Mt Rainier
• Bonney lake
• Seattle: that big farmers market (pike place market??) for sure!!
• North cascades national park
• Alki beach park
• Skagit valley tulip festival
• Columbia River gorge
• Palouse Falls State Park
